iOS 7 180

I was quite brutal about iOS 7 last week and while changing my mind is not usual, to do a complete 180 within 2 days is. I am not sure what caused the change, but some serious time spent using it opened my eyes to what it was and it is now stable enough to really test properly.

The changes are visual and there are some extras, but most impressively it does feel like iOS 6, but with the changes there presumably to help. What surprised me most was when using it in the car. If I wanted to switch between music and podcasts and back to TomTom, the new multitasking makes that exceptionally easy. Before there would just a row of icons at the bottom, but now the whole screen is used which makes a lot of sense (Palm-inspired of course, but it works). Email, music, videos and so much more feels more usable if you ignore the crazy colours in some areas and I now find myself preferring 7 to 6.

It would seem as though I got what I wanted all along. Not too many changes, but something new to play with.
