1Password: I like the software, not the price

I quite like 1Password on the iPhone and in particular the ability to log in to websites with just two taps. The process to set up new passwords and the interface as of a standard I like to see and for £6.99, I felt that it was good value.

Of course, being able to use this functionality on a desktop would be just as useful and then the price hit me. $49.99! I then discovered that it is also available for the iPhone, but that you have to buy a more expensive version at £10.99 to get universal working with the iPad and iPhone. So, if you own an iPad and want to sync your passwords with your desktop, you are looking at spending more than £40.

Sorry, but the developer seems to have taken the shine off a very good solution by pricing it far too aggressively. Such a shame.
